Wireless Future Project Director Michael Calabrese met with staff of FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez on January 25, urging tribal set-aside and “use it or share it” conditions for license modifications expanding terrestrial rights of incumbent 12 GHz licensees, a rapid resolution of the remaining issues in the 6 GHz proceeding’s 2020 Further NPRM, and a 42 GHz spectrum sharing framework premised on open access, non-exclusive licensing by rule, and automated database coordination.
