Youth America is a storytelling-for-action project between New America Indianapolis and VOICES (Indianapolis, IN), helping youth policy advocates safely share their stories and ideas to improve and reinvent the systems intended to serve and protect young people. Please join New America, VOICES, and two youth policy fellows for the second in a series on youth-led policy design. Our guests will talk about how and why they decided to try and communicate their lived experience to policymakers — in this case to drive change in school funding formulas. How did it work? What did they learn? Did anything change?
