Please join us as Steve Clemons, Director of the New America Foundation’s American Strategy Program, moderates an examination of the important challenges we face in the Middle East with James Dobbins and Daniel Levy.

Dobbins, Director of the International Security and Defense Policy Center at Rand Coproration, published an op-ed in the August 13, 2006 edition of the International Herald Tribune titled “Moral Clarity in the Middle East.” Levy will be making his debut as a New America Foundation Senior Fellow and Director of the New America Foundation/Century Foundation Middle East Initiative. Levy was the lead Israeli drafter of the Geneva Initiative and was a member of the Israeli delegation to the Taba negotiations in January 2001, and of the negotiating team for the ‘Oslo B’ Agreement from May to September 1995 under Prime Minister Rabin.
