Join Lisa M. Lawson, president and CEO of the Annie E. Casey Foundation and author of Thrive: How the Science of the Adolescent Brain Helps Us Imagine a Better Future for All Children, for a conversation with Anne-Marie Slaughter, CEO of New America, about what it takes to help young people flourish. Drawing on new insights from neuroscience and youth development, the discussion will explore how relationships, purpose, and real-world learning experiences can create smoother, stronger pathways to opportunity and economic mobility.

As the economy continues to evolve and the nature of work changes, this conversation will consider how systems of education and workforce development, including apprenticeship programs, can better support young people in gaining the skills, credentials, and connections they need to thrive in the years ahead.

This conversation will be followed by an in-person reception. The first 40 guests will receive a free copy of Thrive!
