In response to a request from Sens. Jones, Warren, Cortez Masto, and Harris, New America submitted these comments on February 15 with policy recommendations to support students and borrowers of color in higher education. The recommendations span everything from admissions and financial aid access, to helping borrowers navigate the loan repayment system.
