Comments to the Maryland Legislature on Disorderly College Closures

This month, Amy Laitinen and Clare McCann submitted comments to the House and Senate members of the Maryland General Assembly in support of proposed legislation to limit disorderly college closures. Precipitous closures, especially by for-profit colleges, have left tens of thousands of students stranded without warning, unable to continue and complete their education.
