On January 19, 2021, New America submitted comments to the Department of Education regarding its proposed revisions to data reporting by institutions that participate in experiments under the Experimental Sites Initiative. Our comments address many of the ongoing experiments, including: loan counseling; Second Chance Pell; dual enrollment; limits on unsubsidized loans; and the Federal Work-Study experiment.
