Public Comments on Low Value Programs in Higher Education

In January 2023, The Department of Education released a request for information on how to identify low-financial-value postsecondary programs best. New America's higher education team submitted public comments highlighting ways to determine whether a program is of low value and the importance of ensuring robust accountability to protect students from programs that do not help them find well-paid employment.
