Capitol Hill Breakfast Briefing on The Way Women Work: Addressing the Challenges Facing Women Voters and Juggler Families

  • In-Person
  • New America
    740 15th St NW #900
    Washington, D.C. 20005
  • 11AM – 1PM EDT

Women face unique challenges in today’s economy. They are more likely to be employed in nonstandard jobs (part-time, freelance, temp and self-employed). This has consequences for wages, health care and pension coverage. This forum will provide an opportunity to discuss issues of women and work, as well as provide a new framing for policy solutions to the stresses women face, particularly, the current policy structure of employer-provided benefits.
