For many Americans in these anxious times, fear is a persistent reality – including the fear of terrorism. Yet when we react to challenges out of fear, we often do not act on our best or wisest instincts. As Americans confront their terrorism-related fears, how can people of faith work together to strengthen America’s social fabric, build resilience, and encourage constructive responses to future national crises? Join Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church, the U.S. in the World Initiative, and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund for a provocative half-day conference that takes on hard questions about fear and faith, and be part of the visioning process for a new kind of community response infrastructure.

This event is co-hosted by Bethesda Jewish Congregation, Idara e Jaferia Mosque, InterFaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington, Journal of Inter-Religious Dialogue, and the New America Foundation
