January 11, 2012 marked the 10-year anniversary of the opening of the U.S. prison at Guantánamo Bay, yet new laws and staunch political opposition have made it increasingly unlikely that “Gitmo” will close under President Obama. Peter Bergen moderated a discussion at the New America Foundation on what the next 10 years may hold for the detention facility.
