Bringing All Americans Online

The Federal Communications Commission will soon be updating its Lifeline program, which helps ensure that vitally important communications services are affordable for all Americans. Our panel of experts will discuss the anticipated updates, which are expected to help low-income consumers all over the country gain access to subsidized Internet service.

The panelists will also discuss the far-reaching implications of getting more Americans online, including closing achievement gaps for students growing up in historically underserved communities, increasing the reach of 21st century medical care, and improving nationwide access to crucial continuing education and employment opportunities.
