[ONLINE] – Is Higher Education Still Worth It?
- Virtual
- 12PM – 1PM EDT
Is higher education still worth it? For the past seven years, New America has been asking Americans critical questions regarding their perspectives on education after high school. Varying Degrees, its signature annual survey which was just released in August, continues to gauge Americans’ opinions on issues regarding the value, funding, accountability, diversity and equity of higher education. These findings shed light on what the public’s priorities are for education after high school, and how the nation’s higher education system can be revamped to meet their needs.
On October 10th at noon, please join New America in a conversation with public opinion and policy experts as we take a closer look at the survey results, and discuss the implications of these findings for students, institutional leaders, and policymakers.
