Shelton Daal was a program associate with the Center on Education & Labor at New America. He supported the Education Policy program's Partnership to Advance Youth Apprenticeships (PAYA) initiative.
Prior to joining New America, Shelton interned with the Maryland Municipal League, doing local government work; the Federal Trade Commission, specializing in training and development; and the Judge Alexander Williams Center, researching education and justice policy.
He holds a master’s in public policy and a bachelor’s in sociology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
