Samieleen Lawson was New America’s Office Administrator. She served as a liaison to ensure efficient and effective office services for leadership, staff, and all outside entities.
Mrs. Lawson has 10+ years of professional experience as an executive receptionist. Before coming to New America in April 2015, she was employed as a receptionist/administrative services specialist at Pact in Washington, DC; an executive receptionist at the Children’s Defense Fund in Washington, DC under the direct leadership of Marian Wright Edelman; and an executive receptionist at Carter & Burgess, Jacobs in Arlington, VA. She attended Northern Virginia Community College and is a Notary Officer in Virginia and Washington, DC.
