Rachel Zimmerman was a research assistant with the Resource Security program at New America. Prior to joining New America, she worked as a project manager and analyst at a tech startup as well as a program assistant in Kajiado, Kenya working on climate adaptation initiatives. Zimmerman holds a BA in international relations from Pomona College where she was awarded the John A. Vieg Prize in International Relations for scholastic excellence.
