As the engagement coordinator, Margaret Streeter carries out research, public programming, and community outreach for the Work, Workers, and Technology program around the impact of automation and rural/urban coalition building. She also serves as the manager for the New York City hub, where she supports the New America National Network communications strategy and produces a diverse portfolio of public events.
Prior to New America, Streeter served on several committees in her hometown of Louisville, Ky. focusing on land conservation and youth arts. Currently she serves on the advisory board of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.
Streeter studied music at Bard College and received her BA in history from the University of Louisville.
