Margaret Streeter was the engagement coordinator for New America Local. She supported a multi-state initiative on creating an equitable future of work with data-driven storytelling, analysis, and community design labs. She also served as the manager for the New York City hub, where she supported the New America Local communications strategy, and produced a diverse portfolio of over 250 public events in the NYC region, Pennsylvania, and Michigan since 2015.
Prior to New America, Streeter served on several committees in her hometown of Louisville, Ky. focusing on land conservation and youth arts.
Streeter studied music at Bard College and received her BA in history from the University of Louisville.
