Maggie You Ming Tsai was an Emerson National Hunger Fellow in the Family-Centered Social Policy program at New America. Prior to New America, Tsai conducted qualitative research on healthy food financing initiatives and early childhood nutrition programs at Reinvestment Fund in Philadelphia. Previously, she worked as a research assistant for a NIH-funded randomized controlled trial in home-based child care in Providence, R.I. She holds a B.S. in nutrition and food studies from New York University and a M.S. in nutrition and food science from the University of Rhode Island.
