Lukas Pietrzak is a research assistant with the Open Technology Institute at New America. Pietrzak is a current master of public policy student at Georgetown University, where his work focuses on broadband infrastructure and internet policy issues. He is a recent graduate of the University of Virginia where he completed a B.A. in media studies with a concentration in media policy and ethics. During his time at UVA and Georgetown, he completed a variety of research on local governance and solutions to bridge the digital divide.
Pietrzak spent a previous summer with the Open Technology Institute as the Google Policy Fellow where he worked on issues of broadband availability and affordability.
