Kirsten Berg was an editor with Future Tense, a partnership between New America, Slate, and Arizona State University that explores emerging technologies and their effects on public policy and society.
She also served as the deputy director of the New America Fellows program and as the Washington editor for Zócalo Public Square.
Previously, Berg was a researcher for the non-profit investigative news organization ProPublica. She also worked for the New England Center for Investigative Reporting, the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press,and the web team of the PBS public affairs documentary series FRONTLINE.
