Kaycie Gillette-Mallard is a former intern for the Education Policy program at New America with the Early & Elementary Education team. She spent the past two years teaching a first grade bilingual class in Dallas, TX. Prior to teaching, she attended the University of Virginia where she received both a B.A. in Political Philosophy, Policy and Law, and a Master's in Public Policy.
