Jeremy Hodge

Jeremy Hodge is a senior research fellow at the Zomia Center for the Study of Non-State Spaces. He is also an investigative journalist covering collusive state-business relations and security in Syria, Iraq and Egypt. He is co-author of the 2015 African Confidential investigation "Opening the Black Box of Egypt's Slush Funds" that exposed a $9.4bn network of corruption amongst the country's generals. His work has also appeared in Foreign Affairs, The Daily Beast, The Nation, Le Monde Diplomatique, Al-Jazeera and other outlets.
