Doug Comes was a Summer 2017 intern in the Education Policy program at New America. Previously, Comes worked in nonprofit youth development and as an advisor in TRIO Upward Bound in Minneapolis-St. Paul. He is currently pursuing a master’s in international education policy at Vanderbilt University and holds bachelor's degrees in social science/history teaching and psychology from Winona State University.
