Avery Reyna

Intern, Digital Impact and Governance Initiative

Avery Reyna is an intern at New America’s Digital Impact & Governance Initiative, where he works on researching technology policy, writing blog posts, and assisting on long-term projects examining digital public infrastructure both domestically and abroad.

Prior to joining New America, Avery was an Editorial Intern at the Council on Foreign Relations, where he covered Latin American Vaccination efforts and worked with the User Experience team to create interactive data visualizations for online publications. He also did public policy work with The Hub Project, primarily focusing on providing factual resources for community organizations across the country. Avery is extensively involved in research on-campus, concentrating on human-computer interaction and computational social sciences.

Avery is currently pursuing his B.S. in Social Sciences from the University of Central Florida, concentrating in Political Science and Sociology.
