Ariel Bogle

Associate Editor, Future Tense

Ariel Bogle was an associate editor with the Future Tense program, a joint collaboration between the New America Foundation, the online magazine Slate, and Arizona State University. Her work focused on emerging technologies and their implications for society.

Ms. Bogle was previously a publicist and blogger for Melville House Publishing in New York City. She has also been a public policy and government affairs intern for Google, completing an advocacy paper on the legal status of caching. Ms. Bogle graduated with a B.A. in English and Spanish and a L.L.B. in law with honors from the Australian National University, where she wrote an honors thesis on the public policy implications of digital publishing. The thesis was included in the Australian government’s Standing Committee on Infrastructure and Communications’ investigation into information technology pricing.
