Andrew Lomax

Andrew Lomax was a full stack developer at New America where he built and maintained newamerica.org web properties.

Previously, Lomax's focus has been developing web applications that allow non-profit social workers to more easily identify needs and deliver services to the people who need them. His current fascination is exploring the ways in which data visualizations and interactive storytelling can be used to engage, inform or inspire the public on critical issues.

Lomax has worked for the D.C.-based social services non-profit Bread for the City as a systems developer and at the Center for American Progress as a data visualization developer. He graduated from Brown University in 2010 with a bachelor of science degree in human biology and completely different aspirations.
