Andrew Bolden

Andrew Bolden was a New America fellow, where he wrote the libretto and composed the score for a new musical about NSA surveillance, anchored by the Edward Snowden narrative and themes of privacy, power, and patriotism. Bolden held a variety of administrative positions at New America since 2008, with a two-year hiatus for graduate studies. He served as an executive assistant, offering additional support to New America’s central leadership team. He holds master’s degrees in music from Converse College and Emory University.
