Amanda Armah

Amanda Armah was New America's  financial analysis and grants manager. Armah has over 10 years of experience in grants, finance, and budget management. She has worked at various non-profits including the Aspen Institute, the Brookings Institution, and most recently the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

As NRDC's first program finance manager for their San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago offices, she served as a key liaison to improve business processes and strengthen the management of financial functions between various departments. During her time at Brookings, Armah was the senior financial manager and led the financial operations for the Global Health Initiative, the  Wolfensohn Center for Development, Africa Growth Initiative, and the Center for Universal Education.

Armah holds a bachelors degree in communications from the University of Maryland, College Park.
