Alessandro Nigro was the communications Intern for New America’s Education Policy Program. Nigro recently graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in communication, culture and technology (CCT) at Georgetown University. Previously, Nigro interned with the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association in Washington, D.C.
