NEW AMERICA APPOINTS CHIEF FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Washington, D.C. — New America today announced the appointment of Denise Devenny as its new chief financial and administrative officer.

Ms. Devenny has more than 20 years of experience in financial management at nonprofits including the Bipartisan Policy Center, the Roosevelt Institute, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and Habitat For Humanity.

“New America is growing fast, and tackling some of the most important policy challenges of our day,” said Ms. Devenny. “I am thrilled to be joining such a dynamic organization.”

Ms. Devenny graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a master’s degree in health services administration. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Florida.
