Fellows Alumni Committee Members: Peter Bergen, Marcia Chatelain, Larissa MacFarquhar, Liza Mundy, Brigid Schulte, and Bina Venkataram

Since 1999, New America’s Fellows program has supported more than 200 dynamic and engaging storytellers as they seek to advance big ideas that become templates for change. Contributions to Fellows 20th Anniversary Fund will support fellowships for the next generation of public intellectuals writing, filming, communicating, photographing, and coding about important public problems in ways that appeal to a wide audience.

James Fallows Fund for Journalism and Storytelling

For 20 years, we have been at the forefront of advancing big ideas in public policy through journalism. James Fallows, New America’s founding Board Chairman is an acclaimed author, journalist, editor, and media commentator. Jim’s work and personal legacy is one of the highest journalist integrity, focus and forward-looking reporting that we strive to emulate here at New America. Contributions to the James Fallows Fund for Journalism and Storytelling will support local reporting stipends and the editorial staff and partnerships activities.

New America New Practice Fund for Innovation and Community Problem Solving

New America is promoting this practice in two ways - doing our own implementation through our National Network and programmatic activities, and by advising others in civil society, philanthropy, and government who are interested in taking this approach to their work and align with a commitment to New America’s legacy and mission to renew America. Contributions to this Fund will support the network and sustainability practices for New America’s efforts to promote the New Practice.

Please contact development@newamerica.org to learn more about sponsorships.
