Muslims in the Metropolis

We conduct in-depth research in key cities in the United States on the following questions: What kind of impact do Muslims have on their neighbors and neighborhoods? What effect do Muslim communities have on housing, schools, and healthcare? What role do Muslims play in the civic life of their neighborhoods and cities? By systematically surveying Muslim communities within key cities we are able to provide the best evidence to date of the many ways—big and small—that Muslims impact their local communities.

Islamophobia

Islamophobia is a real and growing problem in the United States. In order to adequately understand this problem, we are conducting research and building a set of online tools. We will soon launch an interactive map that provides in near real-time a visual and quantitative understanding of the scale and scope of anti-Muslim activities taking place at the state and local level across the United States.
