[POSTPONED] - Our Entertaining Future

Event

Note: This event has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

Big Tech’s incursion into Hollywood. Streaming wars. The urgent need amidst a national movement for social and racial justice to make our storytelling industries (and their offerings) more representative of the country's full diversity. The globalization of entertainment, and its audiences. The shifting power dynamics between studios, talent, and their representatives. The future of theaters. Discerning the future of entertainment was plenty confusing (and exciting or terrifying, depending on where you sit) even before the global pandemic and the outbreak of a new social justice movement, which have raised a host of new existential questions for the industry.

Fortunately, Michael Burns, Vice Chairman of Lionsgate, is joining Future Tense on Tuesday, June 16 for less than an hour at 4:00 pm EDT to share his thoughts, and take our questions, on where things are headed.
