POSTPONED: Has Mexico Turned a Corner?

Event

Due to inclement weather, this event has been postponed.  We hope to reschedule so please check our website for a new date.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Brutal drug cartels, swine flu and a crippling global recession all conspired to make the last two years an especially challenging period for America's neighbor to the south. Mexico still faces a series of unenviable problems, but there are also reasons for optimism. Entering the second half of its six-year term, the Calderon administration has scored some wins in its conflict with drug traffickers, the economy is showing signs of life and a long-gridlocked political establishment is at least starting to talk about the possibility of needed reforms. At this crucial juncture, please join us in taking stock of where Mexico has been and where it's headed.
