The Education Department has begun inviting colleges to participate in its upcoming round of experimental sites, Allie Grasgreen reports. Amy Laitinen, deputy director for higher education at the New America Foundation, said at least 10 campuses have received invitations. Through the sites, the department will issue financial aid waivers to colleges that will test “better, faster and more flexible paths to academic and career success.”
