[ONLINE] - Transformation: How to Upgrade Institutions Beyond the Pandemic

Event

Transformation is a groundbreaking online event series examining how innovation and technology can reshape our institutions in a post-pandemic world. Each month, we bring together key leaders revolutionizing the structures that power our societies. The series will explore breakthroughs that are making economic and governance systems more efficient, transparent, and accountable. Together, we’re creating a blueprint for how societies can build back better when the crisis is over.

For our inaugural event, Dr. Tomicah Tillemann, Director of New America’s Digital Impact and Governance Initiative (DIGI), will host conversations with Brian Whittaker and Beth Noveck, two top technologists for the U.S. Government and the State of New Jersey, who are reimagining how the public sector can deploy technology through the use of open source solutions. We’ll also talk with Sheila Warren of the World Economic Forum about the newly unveiled Presidio Principles, a framework for more responsible tech platforms.

Transformation is hosted by New America’s Digital Impact and Governance Initiative. We collaborate with organizations including the Rockefeller Foundation, World Bank, and governments around the world to develop the next generation of modular, interoperable technology platforms to power the public sector.
