Nan Mooney was interviewed on WBUR, Boston's NPR station, about the New America Care Report:

Many families are feeling the pressure of the rising cost of child care in the U.S., and a new report fromĀ New America,, measures U.S. child care in each of the 50 states by cost, quality and availability.
Massachusetts scores high on quality and availability, but it gets low marks on affordability. According to the report, the average cost of childcare in Massachusetts is $21,095 per year. That's 33 percent of median household incomes and 113 percent of the minimum wage here.
