In collaboration with Care.com and others, the Better Life Lab developed an index of the cost, quality, and availability of child care in all 50 states and D.C., finding no state does well in all three categories. Our New America Care Report included independent analysis, data visualizations, policy recommendations, and documented real-life experiences of parents and child care providers.
