Scott is an intern at New America’s Open Technology Institute where he supports their policy team and conducts research on cybersecurity and tech policy.
He is currently completing an M.A. in Global Governance at the Balsillie School of International Affairs in Waterloo, Canada, focusing on risk and uncertainty management.
Before coming to New America, Scott was a Junior Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation where he worked on projects relating to intellectual property rights and Internet governance. Scott holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.
